Enterprise cloud computing leaders Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) are accelerating their partnership to celebrate the general availability of the HPE ProLiant DX Series with a series of launch events across Asia. The 15-city launch tour was attended by more than 350 dealers and was well received by partners in Singapore, Bangkok, Seoul and Tokyo.

In April 2019, the two companies signed a global cooperation agreement, aiming to provide the market with an integrated hybrid cloud-as-a-service solution, making it easier for global enterprises to obtain HCI services. The partnership builds on the newly developed ProLiant DX series, which combines HPE servers and Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OS software for on-premises deployments.
HCI and hybrid cloud continue to grow across Asia, and enterprises are accelerating the replacement of traditional IT infrastructure in response to an increasingly competitive environment. With the acceleration of cloud competition, enterprises' demand for cloud architecture is also increasing rapidly. Therefore, the launch of Nutanix on the HPE Proliant DX series products may inject new vitality into Asian companies. Nutanix and HPE believe their open, flexible and collaborative model will win over less flexible and limited-scope competitors.
John Elways, senior strategic planner at Hewlett Packard Enterprise's US headquarters, said: "The HPE Proliant DX series has given Asian companies a dominant position. As international competition intensifies and the threat of a global economic slowdown continues, Asian companies will increasingly rely on Future-ready infrastructure that delivers the efficiency and productivity needed to survive and thrive. Nutanix and HPE are delivering the ideal solution to help businesses do just that.”
The rapid launch of Nutanix on the HPE Proliant DX series is part of Nutanix's continued investment in Asia. Investment projects include a series of recent agreements with dealers and agents, strategic partnerships and alliances, and the rapid expansion of regional marketing and sales teams.
